PRO TEHNO Scrap Cleaning Plants (SCP) are custom-engineered systems for cleaning ferrous scrap. Material is processed through screening and electromagnetic drum separation to remove fines, contamination and non-magnetic material.
Better scrap quality helps steel producers accelerate the transition toward green steel - supporting a more stable, lower-emission steelmaking route from the recycler’s output all the way to the melt shop.

Scrap cleaning performance is best shown through the material itself: mixed input, the drum cleaning process and the cleaner fractions ready for recovery or sale.
Input material
Incoming scrap often contains fines, dirt and non-metallic contamination that must be removed before recovery.
Cleaning process
Material is opened, tumbled and screened inside the rotating drum to release fines, dirt and non-metallic contamination before magnetic separation.
