Scp devices are divided into three classes by capacity: small (up to 50t/h), medium (from 50 to 120 t/h) and large (from 120 to 150 t/h).
SCP 1600 Flexi is a small multipurpose scrap cleaning plant, designed for magnetic cleaning of steel scrap - E1, HMS and stainless steel. At optimal operation, it reaches capacities of up to 30t/h. The device is built-in behind hydraulic shears, that control the size of the input material. Steel scrap in addition to steel also contains waste and non- ferrous metals. Small particles and dust are eliminated during the separation process and metals are sorted according to their physical properties.
Flow of steel scrap & screening of 0-20 or 0-40mm granulation takes place on vibrating conveyor and vibrating screen. Cascades on vibrating equipment ensure better separation of adhered particles and better cleaning effect. The main cleaning process is performed with a magnetic drum. Additional separation of steel (magnetic particles) with a granulation of 0-20 or 0-40 mm is performed by overbelt magnet.
In case of stainless steel cleaning, magnetic drum can be moved out of function and replaced by belt conveyor.
Optimal performance is achieved with hydraulic shears adjustments, power of electro motors regulation, adjustments of eccentric weight on vibrating equipment and regulation of magnetic drum speed.
